Calculator

Everyday arithmetic and percentages in Basic mode, or switch to Scientific for trigonometry, logarithms, and powers — without installing an app.

0

Basic mode handles everyday arithmetic — addition, subtraction, multiplication, division — plus a percent key for quick discount or tip calculations. Everything runs in your browser; nothing you type is saved or sent anywhere.

Switch to Scientific mode for trigonometric functions (sin, cos, tan, all in degrees), logarithms (log and ln), square roots, squares, powers (xʸ), the constants π and e, and a reciprocal (1/x) key — useful for homework, quick engineering checks, or anything beyond basic arithmetic.

Can I calculate percentages?

Yes — the % button converts the current number to a percentage (dividing it by 100), which you can then use in a calculation, such as finding a discount or a tip.

Can I use decimals?

Yes, use the . button to enter a decimal point at any point while typing a number.

Does it remember past calculations?

No. The calculator doesn't keep a history — it resets when you refresh or close the page, and nothing is saved or sent anywhere.

Does the scientific calculator use degrees or radians?

Degrees. Trigonometric functions (sin, cos, tan) expect and return values in degrees.
